Right Way Training Facility (Hospitality Pink Slip NSW)
This system aims to result in speedier registration for training providers and will improve links between training providers and the hospitality industry.
The Right Way Training Facility (Hospitality NSW) is for providers delivering four hospitality qualifications to overseas students:
- Certificate III in Hospitality (Commercial Cookery)
- Certificate III in Hospitality (Asian Cookery)
- Certificate III in Hospitality (Patisserie)
- Diploma of Hospitality
Service Industry Skills Council (SSA) will select industry experts with specific experience to assess the technical aspects of a provider's application to deliver training. When a provider wants to add a kitchen, add a qualification and/or increase its student numbers, it will apply for Right Way Training Facility status to Service Skills Australia.
This process will enable direct industry input when determining the adequacy of a provider's facilities and equipment, which VETAB can then use to assess student capacity.
The information gathered during the Right Way Training Facility Evaluation Process will provide guidance to VETAB when it audits applications for CRICOS approval or for providers seeking to expand scope or capacity of operations.
