Hairdressing Continuous Improvement
The SIH11 Hairdressing Training Package was endorsed by the former National Quality Council on 23 June 2011. As part of SSA’s process for continuous improvement, the Training Package will undergo review in 2014 to ensure that content reflects current industry practices and meets the new Standards for Training Packages. The continuous improvement of this Training Package provides the opportunity for industry, training organisations, employers and employees to provide input into the current and future skills and knowledge requirements of the Hairdressing industry.
The review of the Hairdressing Training Package will see SSA develop a profile of the Hairdressing industry in order to capture the latest industry intelligence on trends and practices. SSA will consult with a number of industry experts, practitioners, trainers and business owners to gather information. This information, along with key themes from the Hairdressing Environmental Scan, will guide the continuous improvement of the Hairdressing Training Package.
